Terms of Use

  1. General

These Terms of Use govern the purchase and use of digital courses and related materials provided by Leo Brennauer.

The courses are hosted and delivered through the online course platform Thinkific and are accessible via courses.leo-brennauer.com.

By creating an account or purchasing a course through this platform, the customer enters into a contract with Leo Brennauer and agrees to these Terms of Use.

Thinkific provides the technical infrastructure used to deliver the courses but is not the seller of the courses.

  1. Digital Content and Immediate Access

All courses consist of digital content, including video lessons and, in some cases, downloadable materials such as PDFs, templates, or other resources.

By purchasing a course and agreeing to these Terms of Use during account creation or checkout, the customer expressly agrees that access to the digital content begins immediately after purchase.

The customer expressly consents to the immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledges that this may affect or result in the loss of statutory withdrawal rights applicable to digital products.

  1. Refund Policy

Customers may request a refund for purchased courses within seven (7) days of the purchase date.

Refund requests are only eligible if no more than thirty percent (30%) of the course content has been completed or no more than thirty (30) lessons have been started, whichever occurs first.

  1. Downloadable Resources and Digital Products

Some courses include downloadable materials or resources. These materials may represent digital products that are also offered separately.

By accessing the Resources or Download sections of a course, the customer receives immediate access to these digital products.

If a refund is requested after access to these materials has been granted, the value of the respective digital products may be deducted from the refund amount.

Due to technical limitations, it may not always be possible to determine whether specific files have been downloaded. Access to the Resources section is therefore considered equivalent to access to the digital products.

  1. Special Offers and Exclusions

The refund policy does not apply if the customer has applied for or used special offers associated with the course, including but not limited to the VSL EDU status offer or the Exclusive Steinberg Discount included in the course Cinematic Orchestration Essentials.

  1. Account Responsibility

Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activities that occur under their account.

Accounts may not be shared with other individuals.

Leo Brennauer reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the course platform if these Terms of Use are violated, including but not limited to unauthorized sharing or distribution of course materials.

  1. Intellectual Property

All course materials, videos, downloads, and related content are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

Customers are granted a personal, non-transferable license to access and use the course materials for their own educational purposes.

Course materials may not be copied, distributed, shared, resold, sublicensed, or otherwise used for commercial purposes without explicit permission from Leo Brennauer.

  1. Limitation of Liability

All courses and materials are provided for educational purposes only.

Leo Brennauer makes no guarantees regarding specific results or outcomes from applying the information provided in the courses.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Leo Brennauer shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use or inability to use the course materials.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Germany.

  1. Changes to the Terms

Leo Brennauer reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Use when necessary. Continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
